Partnership horizons
On March, 26th the delegation of Chongqing University together with the head of Ukrainian-Chinese Centre of Culture and Education , Wei Liming visited National University of Food Technologies. The aim of Chinese colleagues’ visit is to cooperate with Ukrainian universities and they payed their attention to such world famous universities as National University of Food Technologies.
The delegation met the Dean of University, professor Anatoliy Ukrainets'. Rector told about the history of University, the present day of University, innovative educational programs, the training of specialists , unique scientific research and the works of scientists.
The head of international department – Xu Hawk and the deputy head of international development Gao Xiang are interested in international programs that University participates in, especially in the programs of cooperation with Chinese universities and scientific institutions. Chinese colleagues are interested in the opportunity of academic mobility, training of scientific workers and common scientific research.
They learned about NUFT at the departments of machines and apparatuses of food and pharmaceutical industries, technology of baking and confectionery products, integrated automated control systems and departments of biotechnology and microbiology.
Chinese specialists learned more about the cooperation of University departments with the leading manufacturers of equipment, inspected educational and scientific laboratories, observed laboratory and practical classes of students. The guests were pleasantly impressed with the level of equipment of the laboratories, the diversity of scientific interests of our teachers and students.
In June, Ukrainian-Chinese congress is scheduled to take place in Kyiv, where a cooperation agreement between the National University of Food Technology and Chongqing University will be signed.
